Moody is a novel Web-based music retrieval system, which supports music searching and browsing, online music streaming, playlist management, interactive online survey , and user activity monitoring and logging. 10K full tracks in Moody music library are freely accessible to the system users, where all tracks are originally obtained from Jamendo under the CC-BY license.

Moody App

We recently implemented a mobile-based Moody App for facilitating music discovery in learning scenarios. Particularly, the Moody app supports mood-based music discovery (i.e., music selection based on its happiness and energy) and allows further customization of music type (i.e, instrumental or vocal) and music genre (e.g., jazz, folk) in our mood-based music recommendation.
